About 'Punters Paradise'

Socialising and tipping for Horse Racing enthusiasts should be enjoyed from home, not left at the track. From the very beginning we have strived to provide the tools to make this happen.
Providing punters with form guides and betting tools is only the beginning - it's the social platform and tipping system that helps Punters Paradise stand out from the crowd. Traditionally punters have been paying for services online such as form guides and black book services but Punters Paradise jumped on board with the new development approach for websites, building frameworks rather than delivering content.

History

Punters Paradise was originally created by Kagan Powell who launched the site on 1st September 2006.

After gaining inspiration from one of his favourite and very popular sites Aqua Bumps as well as another internet entrepreneur that created Million Dollar Homepage Kagan decided to put three of his life passions together (photography, graphic design and thoroughbred racing) and Punters Paradise was born.

Kagan started out by going to the track each day and photographing each race, writing original blogs and providing his own tips, which didn't go too badly!

In the meantime, Luc Pettett was dreaming up and creating his own ideas for the racing community. The result was the launch of King Tipping in June 2007, a website marketplace for people to buy and sell their horse racing tips. By September 2007 Kagan stumbled upon Luc's software and really liked the idea, Kagan believed it would complement what he was doing with Punters Paradise. He asked Luc if he would like to include KiNG Tipping as part of Punters Paradise. It was a big hit and the pair have never looked back.

In late 2008 Kagan and Luc formed Punters Paradise Pty Ltd and re-developed the website from the ground up including a social networking facility, horse racing form guide, odds comparison tool and a black book feature.
