Not much wrong with the ride if he doesn't cop the interference he wins easy, It's a midfield cover horse not an on pacer, saying it should of led is stupid.

Since that loss to Beltone Carry Me Bluey has had 9 starts for 4 wins & hasn't finished worse than 4th & the furthest from the winner it's been is 1.7Ls last start & it didn't handle the track. throw in that its 3rd up & Beltone's first up... other than injury or severe bad luck can't see CMB finishing behind Beltone.

You raise some good points but the one you've missed is that this is no harder than most of his wins this prep, in theory he's just as likely to get a good run here.

I thought I'd have Wealth Princess on top but in fact it's not top 4, I have Risk Aversion from Alltherightmoves, Sophie's spirit & Hidden Kisses, though RA rates really well & i'll be having something on it Sophie's spirit interests me alot, good mare, won in Bris before, huge plus Nash goes on and rolls forward in a race that really lacks natural pace.

definitely heavy in some parts of the track
Will be a different horse being trained for the right distances now, when was with Lloyd was aimed at the Cup and it just wasn't a suitable distance

1 and 4 only danger really... I could see the 14 running a race but struggle to see it winning
Buffering from Adebisi, Title & Vareena Miss, Adebisi particularly good place div for a horse that was a $3 second fav to Buffering last start

Tricky race the next at Sandown, I worry about Charlote's mint in the wet but i think she's a quality animal and at good odds I'll be having something on for sure,

It's funny when doing the form for that race I didn't mind line by line career wise it was okay and it was the only on pace horse in the race but when i saw it hadn't won in 2 years i couldn't go with it to win, reckon the jockey on Cash Attack panicked if he'd had a bit more patience think he would have had more left in the tank the last 50m

Just a little heads up Not sure what rain they've had but as of late morning GC was only heavy in the straight everywhere else it was S7-S6
Go to be worried about the pace here, Fast clip will get a easy lead or sit second and Nash is worst a couple KGs

Raspberries was only 3rd up and will be better ridden a little further back problem here is Gai's will dictate really, I have Fast Clip on top from Western Symbol, Rasberries & Star of Octagonal Just not sure i want to dive into #.2 with the extra weight, did go super in the donny though
Scenic Shot rates well here for me and is a nice backable EW price, Respect Fortellier and the 2 up and comers in Mawingo & Light of Heave, also reckon Ironstein can run a big races at odds, maybe even Spechenka

I have 3,18,5,19 in the cup, I was surprised to not come up with the 12 or 14 to be honest,
from memory Melete won a race last Bool Carnival and came second in the Carnival before that
