Interesting betting on R7 at Lakeside today. From Wed to Fri all the money was for Henwood. Today all the money was for Instalment. Sectionals show that Instalment went quite hard in front and compounded badly, which adds merit to Henwood who fought on to run 3rd after a fine on pace effort. He is one to follow, despite Lloyd wanting to sell him.

Well the Blue Diamond has certainly changed complexion! Malasun has eclipsed Raceway as my top pick for the race. Mick Price has declared his intention to start the filly, and her effort today was outstanding. She is around the $8 mark with most for the BD as I write. Jimando is the new fav, but I cannot understand why. It is a great lay for those on Betfair.

80% profit can be made backing all 6 at this early stage. Bit risky, as a few unraced can come out of the woodwork between now and the 25th Feb, but I'll take a small risk now and reassess a fortnight out.
