Hey dener thanks for understanding my post on "BC your opinions". Dam talk about some people getting their panties twisted quickly lol. I was only commenting on "just some" negative aspects/feedback noticed online, in the press, at pubs & tabs etc etc obviously their is MORE positive feedback around. Of course she is a Champ but dam they like to shoot the messenger quickly around here sometime lmfao....Happy Punting dener "fill those pockets mate"....ps my definition of an absolute champ (A FREAK) is like in boxing terms I guess.... "when they get up off the canvas & win the fight time after time against the very best" (fighting in enemy territory e.g in a horses case with massive weights, in maximum fields, outside of their pet distances, from bad draws, over a long career fighting against age & old battle wary legs) ...that pretty much sums up The King & the fight he had in his heart i think!! btw I was pretty much in nappies when he was in his prime lol

What sorta of questions that dener3 ? You need to live in a mental institution to maybe comprehend even a little bit of his thoughts.

Sorry about No Smoken mate, 2yr olds can be difficult to handicap sometimes. Hopefully I can lead you onto a winner soon.

Agree with what yr saying dener,,, if they move it for one then they should move it for all other horses regardless of what horse it is or do what the do in the pacing game,,, leave it out of the draw and automatically put it in the outside barrier,,, they set the standard by moving it once !!!!

AGREE,,free entry would get more people through the gate and that money doesnt go to prize money,,, and people spend enough on food and drink anyway so free entry would see more @ the track and therefore more money spent on punting ,food, drink etc....some people just have no idea.!.

Ha ha, no worries mate. Not sure about being a researcher mate, I daresay the only reason I enjoy it is because I only do it for horse racing, might get a bit tedious in a law firm.

The Grafter ran second in 1897 before winning in 1898. Interestingly when he ran second his full brother Gaulus won the cup. I doubt there'd be another year where two siblings have quinella'd it.

Carbine ran 2nd in 1889 before winning in 1890.

Obviously plenty have won one then come back and been beaten but Brew finished 10th in 1999 before winning in 2000, Tawrrific ran 12th in 1988 before winning in 1989, Empire Rose ran 5th in '86 and 2nd in '87 before winning in '88. However things get very murky when going back into the early 80s and late 70s mate and it's nearly impossible, without visiting a library, to find reliable records outside of the top 3 finishers. Sorry mate.

So you want to know has a horse ever won the Cup at its second, third or fourth attempt? I think it's a bit of a myth that it hasn't happened mate. Let me have a look for you. Off the top of my head I reckon Brew won it the second time he was in it. I'll try find some more.

G'day mate, nah no worries, I love that stuff. Yeah she won the Stormqueen and QLD Oaks at group 1 and the Matriarch at group 2. I was the same, I reckon she ran second every time I backed her. Some trainers just don't seem to be able to train them beyond a mile, Peter Moody is another. Although Snowden doesn't get much staying stock it must be said.

I have changed the way I have done my selections, I encourage you to have a look at my results of the last 6 weeks. I all selling every Saturday for $10 profit guarantee. I would ignore anything before the 18th of June as I changed the way I do my ratings.

Hi dener3. Were you keeping NRL stats on how many teams that are leading at half time go on to win the game?
