The 51's where nsw tab. I agree with you TP, best tot often on the long ones the best pay. However I have found after 12 months of following Spartacus, that I have been able to sense what the top of the market is. As you know alot of his shorten near the jump. Don't get it every time but more often than not I get the best div.
I have found anything under 10's on average is better top flux. However with the County meeting's where that is available you have to be careful as some times there are very few bookies in the ring. I found keeping records of all possible divids available over time gave me the edge on how to get the best div.
I like to practice to look for trends, have a general idea on the approach I am going to take but try to avoid a hard and fast rule as when things change I'm not then ready to take advantage of the new situation. I find it takes me the first race of the day to get the trend for the day.

RYB, I got $36.30 on Mossmeister. How good is Spartacus, was having a rough trot but you can always rely on Spartacus to save you. I normally bet best tote win only, I have taken a number of prices fixed but they always end up paying more best tote so I just stick with that. I took $26 fixed about one horse and then it was paying $40 best tote (luckily it didn't win) Is it better taking top fluctuation when available or best tote? Don't know but I think you need to be consistent either way.
Yes some dry predictable tracks would be fantastic. I was fortunate, I felt we had such a good run I reduced by bet size by 40% and have protected a lot of the profits.
yeah mate its hard to fight out of a rut....valley was a good example last night, all three ended up in wrong part of the track. Looking forward to some dry country tracks if they exist at the moment.
yeah mate, its been a terrible week really. Savage was travelling too. All In Time was an amazing run but no dice.
Hi. My tips is on now. Try me if you like and good luck.
